GP Lead

Please send all correspondences to Wyncroft Surgery, 3 Prior Road, Bicknacre, Essex. CM3 4EY.  Please do not send to the Branch surgery address (39 Maldon Road, Danbury, CM3 4QL) which was closed on 31/03/2016.

For some time the practice has regularly opened for an hour on Saturday mornings to allow for the collection of prescriptions and other administrative related matters.  However, due to reduced staffing capacity, the practice cannot continue to provide this additional service and as such will be giving notice to patients that with effect from 19/06/2017 the practice will close at 6:30pm on Friday and re-open at 8:00am on Monday.

Patients will be advised of this change via posters in the surgery, the practice leaflet and practice website, as well as opportunistically when they attend the surgery.

There will be no change to the practice's contractual opening hours. This notification is being sent to NHS England for information only as Saturday opening does not fall within either the practice's core hours (8:00am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday) or extended hours offered under Enhanced Service arrangements.

There has been a change to our Practice Nurse. For more information please see the updated Patient/Practice leaflet in the information column or ask a member of staff in the surgery who will happily answer any of your questions or queries regarding this.

Friends & Family Test

From the 1st December 2014 all GP practices are required to ask patients the Friends & Family test questions that will be monitored by NHS England on a monthly basis.  The two questions are as follows:

    • How likely are you to recommend our GP Surgery to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?

    • If we could change one thing about your care or treatment to improve your experience, what would it be?

All patients will be given a form with these questions to complete whenever you visit the surgery. All forms can be completed anonymously. We would be most grateful if you could please take a few minutes to complete a form and pop it in the Friends & Family Postbox you will find at both our Bicknacre and Danbury Branches.
